Easy Cleaning Swaps: Wool Dryer Balls

About a year ago I replaced my dryer sheets with wool dryer balls, which are zero waste, and have zero fragrance for me to have an allergic reaction to. Overall, they’ve been a win.

It cost me about $12 for the initial purchase, and I figure they will pay for themselves in 1-2 years. I’d estimate they do about 90% of the job that a dryer sheet does. For me, that’s more than enough to justify ending the waste and extra chemicals of dryer sheets.

It’s been over a year, and they show zero signs of wear. I have a feeling I’m going to have these for a very long time.
